International Women’s Day Launch (4pm)

SEED Hub

Ritual celebration to embrace the Sacred Feminine with Internationally Renowned Witches Barbara Meiklejohn-Free and Flavia Kate Peters at 4pm in the SEED Secret garden. Followed by their pop up shop.

Cafe and bar open with snacks and drinks from 5pm

Exclusive evening screening of the Sinéad O’Connor Documentary, ‘Nothing Compares’ (6:30pm)

SEED Hub

This absorbing and critically acclaimed documentary follows the career of celebrated singer Sinéad O’Connor through her rise to fame and exploring the ways her iconoclastic personality led to exile from the pop mainstream.

Followed by Lynne Franks in Conversation with the Film’s Director Kathryn Ferguson and Producer Ellie Emptage, as well as sharing her own memories of the interesting times she has spent with her friend Sinéad.

Ticket revenue will be donated to the White Helmets and surviving communities of Northern Syrian earthquake through leading Syrian woman activist, Afraa Hashem, who was the International Women’s Day Special Guest at SEED in 2019.

Thursday 9th March

Saskia’s Flower Essences (10am – 1pm)

Saskia’s Flower Essences, Coles Yard

Saskia has been making flower essences for over 15 years. Flower essences help people deal with the complex, sometimes bewildering changes around them, bringing support and personal transformation. She will be offering one-to-one consultations at her shop in Cole’s Yard on Thursday 9th March to help you find the correct blend for you.

Special International Women’s Day Open Mic Night (7pm)

SEED Hub

This International Women’s Day Special Open Mic Night, open to all, will host men and women honouring the Sacred Feminine, featuring women’s poetry, songs and myths. This is a chance to listen, relax and indulge in some poetry and performances; or come and share and express your own magic!

Light supper, snacks and dcelicious cakes available during the evening.

Friday 10th March

Grow your Sustainable Business, Sustainable Community & Sustainable Life (10am – 4pm)

SEED Hub

Day of workshops and talks from Inspirational Women led by Lynne Franks, on how to grow a sustainable business, sustainable community, and a sustainable life. 

Special Guests include Natural Beauty Entrepreneur and Organic SEED Campaigner, Jo Wood; Sue Place, CEO of the Balsam Community Centre; Councillor Sarah Dyke, International Bee Expert Paula Carnell; CEO and founder of Teals, Ash Sinfield; environmentalist and Chairman of Sustainable Dorset, Jenny Morisetti; and Penny Nagle, co-founder of Feltams Organic Farm and cheeses.
